In order to overcome the shortage of teaching staff in the Colleges of Punjab,Competent Authority has decided to hire 8,084 College Teaching Interns (CTIs) (inclusive of 05% for minority, 03% disable quota and 0.5% for transgender community) to be hired for the current academic session w.e.f. 01.10.2025 to 30.04.2026 for Intermediate level (seven (07) months) and w.e.f.01.10.2025 to 31.07.2026 for
BS level (Ten (10) months) or till the arrival of regular incumbent, whichever is earlier,
to meet the pressing needs of the colleges arising during the FY 2025-2026:-
Here are the Punjab CTI (College Teaching Interns) Jobs 2025 procedure,requirements and steps (for Punjab, Pakistan) as announced by the Higher Education Department (HED).
Key Details
Total Vacancies: 8,084 CTI positions in Punjab.
Application Period: 16 September 2025 to 19 September 2025.
Stipend / Salary: Rs 50,000 per month.
There is no age limit for applicants.
Eligibility Criteria
For BS/Graduate Colleges: MS / M.Phil. / PhD in the relevant subject.
For all other colleges (including community colleges): Master’s degree or
BS (16 years of education) in a relevant subject, from an HEC-recognized university,
with at least 2nd division.
Marks Distribution / Merit Criteria
The merit/selection is based on Educational qualification
85-87 marks
Qualifications above Master’s (if any)
3-5 marks
Position holders (in board/university)
2-5 marks
Interview / presentation
3-5 marks

The list of vacant CTI positions is posted at the notice boards of each college and via the CTI portal.
Online Application
Apply through the Higher Education Department’s e-portal during the announced dates.
Submit Documents
Typically you need your educational documents, CNIC, two passport size photos, resume/CV, attested copies of certificates, etc.
Merit List
A tentative merit list will be published on college notice boards and
official websites.Allow period for complaints/corrections.
Final merit list then displayed.
Interview / Presentation
Selected candidates are called for interviews or presentation in the relevant subject.
Marks from this are part of the final evaluation.
Offer & Joining
After final selection, the offer of appointment is issued. You have 7 days
from issuance to join duty, otherwise the offer is withdrawn. CTI HEP Punjab
Appointment is college specific (you can’t transfer immediately).
The list of vacant CTI positions is posted at the notice boards of each college and via the CTI portal.

Step-by-Step CTI Jobs 2025 Application Checklist
1. Check Vacancies
Visit your nearest government college (male/female) and see the
list of vacant CTI seats on the notice board.
OR check on the official CTI portal: cti-hep.punjab.gov.pk
2. Prepare Documents
Keep attested copies (and originals at the time of interview) of:
CNIC
Recent passport size photos (2–4)
All academic certificates (Matric, Inter, BA/BSc/BS/MSc/M.Phil/PhD, etc.)
Experience certificates (if any)
Updated CV/Resume
3. Online Application
Apply through the Higher Education Department Punjab e-Portal
within dates:📅 16 Sept 2025 – 19 Sept 2025
Upload your details + documents.
4. Merit List
Tentative Merit List displayed at colleges & online.
If any mistake, you can submit a complaint within 2 days.
Final Merit List is published after corrections.
5. Interview / Demo
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview & presentation
in the subject.Interview marks are included in merit (approx. 5 marks).
6. Final Selection
After interviews, the final list is displayed.
If selected, you’ll receive an offer letter.
7. Joining
You must join within 7 days of the offer letter.
Otherwise, the seat is given to the next candidate.
